- Educators Beyond Kansas
From the seed we plant to the tractors we drive, science plays a key role in corn production and agriculture in general. Kansas Corn STEM is supported by the Kansas Corn Commission, an organization of Kansas farmers who decide how corn checkoff dollars are invested in the areas of education, market development, research and promotion. Education is one of our priorities with the goal of helping teachers connect science and agriculture by providing high-quality resources and programs.
Striving to build conversations about the science and technology involved in producing and utilizing corn, Kansas Corn STEM provides free lessons and online resources for teachers PreK through 12th Grade.
In partnership with corn farmers across the United States, teachers across the nation can request free lessons and educational resources via the National Corn STEM program.

As the need to produce more food with less resources grows, it is important that future generations have a better understanding of agriculture and how corn farming and agriculture fit into our daily lives. That’s why the Kansas Corn STEM program provides lessons to teach science through the lens of corn.
