Mini Grant Application

The Kansas Corn Commission supports teachers dedicated to teaching about our industry. Teachers eligible to apply for mini grants are those who have attended a Seed to STEM workshop and ag teachers who have received clean smoke lab training.

Mini Grant Supply Prices

Before you request

Our normal mini grant timeline is in October. You can still submit a mini grant request however it may take longer for your request to be reviewed and processed.
Elementary teachers needing supplies can request them via our request materials page at any time. You receive materials without the need to attend a training.
Mini grant awards average around $250 worth of supplies.
The purpose of these grants is to restock consumable items needed to conduct our labs or to request equipment that you still need for a lab.
Teachers are only eligible for one mini grant per year.
Please be as detailed as possible regarding the materials you are requesting, quantity and how you plan to use them.
Seed to STEM graduates wanting distillation kits can request via the request materials form.
